One Verse Gaming Technology Pvt. Ltd.: A Case of Systematic Cheating, Misrepresentation, and Employee Exploitation

On 11th March, Mr. Prashant Joshua created a WhatsApp group claiming transparency and resolution. He stated that salary payments would begin from 28th March.

What is currently unfolding at One Verse Gaming Technology Private Limited is not just a case of delayed salaries—it is a clear pattern of cheating with employees, cheating with the Government of India, financial misconduct, and deliberate misrepresentation by the leadership.

The names involved are not unknown:

  • Mr. Prashant Joshua (Director)

  • Mr. Shrikanth Gummalla (Director)

  • Mr. Paul Micheal (CEO)

  • Mr. Sathish T (Management)

  • Mrs. Neha Achari (Management)

  • Mr. Suhas (Board/Management)

These individuals were directly or indirectly involved in decisions that have left 100+ employees unpaid for over 9 months.

The WhatsApp Group – A Carefully Crafted Illusion

On 11th March, Mr. Prashant Joshua created a WhatsApp group claiming transparency and resolution. He stated that salary payments would begin from 28th March.

Today, that promise stands broken.

No payments have been made.

What started as an “open communication channel” quickly turned into a silent group. Messages go unread. Responses are rare. Engagement has vanished.

This raises a serious question:

👉 Was this WhatsApp group created to solve employee issues, or merely to create a record showing that the company is “in touch” with employees?

Blame Game – Then Silence

In initial conversations, Mr. Prashant Joshua himself stated that:

  • Mr. Paul Micheal

  • Mr. Sathish T

  • Mrs. Neha Achari

had mishandled the situation and cheated employees.

He assured that strict action would be taken against them.

But today:

  • No action taken

  • No accountability established

  • No resolution delivered

👉 Mr. Prashant Joshua, if wrongdoing was acknowledged, why has no action been taken? Was this statement genuine or just a tactic to gain employee trust?

Fake Acknowledgments & BCC Emails

Mr. Prashant Joshua has started sending “acknowledgment emails” to employees—all in BCC.

These emails:

  • Do not mention exact payable amounts

  • Do not provide binding timelines

  • Do not commit to payment

Instead, they create a legal façade of communication.

👉 Why are employees hidden in BCC?
👉 Why is there no transparent, employee-wise acknowledgment of dues?
👉 Is this an attempt to create documentation for legal defense rather than actual resolution?

The Biggest Question – Where Did the Money Go?

In a Google Meet call, Mr. Prashant Joshua clearly stated that some businesses are operational and performing well. He also admitted that funds were moved into these businesses after the ban in August 2025. If these businesses are running successfully:

  • Where is the revenue going?

  • Why are employee salaries still unpaid?

  • Why is there no allocation towards clearing dues?

Cheating with Employees & Government

From September 2025 to February 2026, employees were:

  • Forced to work without salary

  • Given repeated false assurances (“15 days”, “next week”, “end of month”)

  • Threatened that resignation would result in non-payment

This is not mismanagement.

This is cheating with employees.

Additionally:

  • TDS was deducted from salaries but not deposited with the Government of India

👉 This constitutes cheating with the Government of India and violation of statutory obligations.

Directors Must Answer

To the leadership of One Verse Gaming Technology Pvt. Ltd.:

Mr. Prashant Joshua

  • Why create a WhatsApp group and not honor payment commitments?

  • Why send incomplete acknowledgment emails?

  • Why promise action against management and then go silent?

Mr. Shrikanth Gummalla & Mr. Suhas

  • As directors/board members, how are you allowing this continued non-payment?

  • Why is there no financial transparency?

Mr. Paul Micheal

  • Why were employees forced to work under threats despite no funds?

  • Why were false assurances repeatedly given?

Mr. Sathish T & Mrs. Neha Achari

  • Why were employees threatened when asking for rightful salaries?

  • Why was pressure applied to continue work without payment?

Reality vs Narrative

Narrative being shown:

  • “We are working on resolution”

  • “We are in touch with employees”

  • “Payments will happen soon”

Ground reality:

  • 9+ months unpaid salary

  • Zero actual payment

  • No accountability

  • No transparency

Final Reality

This is not a delay.
This is not a business failure.

This is a structured pattern of cheating with employees, cheating with the Government, and exploiting workforce under false assurances.

No WhatsApp group, no email, and no verbal promise can replace actual payment.

Employees are not asking for sympathy.
They are asking for what theirs is legally and rightfully.
