False Assurances by OneVerse to Make Employees Work

A call recording from 10th December captures a clear statement made by the CEO Paul Micheal on behalf of the Board. In that call, it was explicitly stated that sufficient funds had already been arranged by the board in November 2025 to clear all employee salary dues.

Call Recording: The Assurance Given on 10th December by Paul Micheal

While several issues around unpaid salaries and lack of communication have already been discussed, one critical piece of evidence stands out and changes the entire narrative.

A call recording from 10th December captures a clear statement made by the CEO Paul Micheal on behalf of the Board. In that call, it was explicitly stated that sufficient funds had already been arranged by the board in November 2025 to clear all employee salary dues.

This was not an informal conversation. It was a structured discussion involving key individuals, including those supporting management in resolving employee concerns.

Based on this assurance, employees were encouraged to continue working and supporting the company.

Some employees continued.
Not because they had to, but because they chose to trust what was said.

What Happened After the Assurance

Following this statement, there was a clear expectation that payments would be processed soon.

The understanding was simple:
Funds are available.
Payments will follow.
The situation is under control.

However, what followed was not action but silence.

Weeks passed.
Then months.
There was no structured payment.
No written confirmation.

No acknowledgment of the commitment made during that call.

The Key Question

This leads to a simple but important question:

If funds were arranged on 10th December, what changed after that?
And if funds were not actually available, then why was such a statement made to employees?Because the impact of that statement was real:
Employees continued working without salary.
Important business tasks were completed.
Support was extended to management in good faith.
An assurance like this directly influences decisions. It creates trust and expectation.

Where the Situation Changes

At least one individual who was part of that call and the follow-up process chose to step away by the end of December.
Not because the situation was difficult, but because the gap between what was said and what was happening became impossible to ignore.

Then vs Now

In December, the position was:
Funds are already arrange
Today, the position is:

Mr Prashant Joshua director of Oneverse steps in after 7 months of silence on numerous employee emails and says that Funds will be arranged over the next 90 days.

This is not a small change.
It shifts the situation from certainty to uncertainty.

Why This Recording Matters
This is no longer just about delayed salaries.

It is about:
What was communicated to employees.
What employees relied on.
And what actually followed.
When employees act based on such assurances, accountability becomes important.

Trust is built on words followed by action.
When words and actions do not match, questions will arise.
And until there is clarity on what happened after the 10th December assurance, those questions will remain unanswered.

There are also serious concerns being raised about Paul Micheal’s past track record, including incidents in Hyderabad where people allegedly faced financial losses and disputes. It has been discussed that settlements in that situation were eventually made through liquidation of personal assets. Additionally, companies previously associated with his leadership have reportedly shut down. When similar patterns start appearing again at OneVerse, it raises a bigger question — is this just business failure, or a repeated cycle of mismanagement and financial distress under the same leadership?

Employees continued working purely based on trust after the 10th December assurance. That trust was clearly broken. Now shifting from “funds are arranged” to “give us 90 more days” shows a complete contradiction. Prashant Joshua and Paul Micheal must answer — where did the funds go? This situation strongly indicates misrepresentation, cheating with employees, and lack of financial transparency.

This is a clear case of false assurance leading to employee exploitation. If Paul Micheal clearly stated on record that funds were arranged in November 2025, then why were salaries not paid? Either the statement was false or the funds were diverted. Both situations raise serious concerns of cheating with employees and financial misconduct.

Thank you for unearthing the dark truth of One Verse Gaming Technologies Pvt. Ltd.'s unpaid salaries with proof. I totally agree with you as I am bearing the brunt of the wrongdoings. So on 10th December, during a structured call involving key stakeholders, CEO Paul Michael made a clear statement on behalf of the board: funds had already been arranged in November 2025 to clear all employee dues. This was definitely not a casual reassurance—it was a definitive commitment. Most of the employees responded in good faith. They continued working, supporting business operations—clearly not out of obligation, but out of trust. The impact was real. Employees continued working without pay; critical business functions were sustained. Trust directly influenced professional decisions. Then: Funds are already arranged. Now, Prashant Joshua (Director of Oneverse & Gutshot Magazine Pvt. Ltd.) states funds will be arranged over the next 90 days. This is more than a delay—it is a shift from certainty to uncertainty.
